Hello, I am back to where I usually am everyweek not knowing where to start ha, I am having a great time but a rough week at the same time. I guess that is usually how things work out, it is never easy. I know for myself that it is better for it too be difficult with ups and downs, excitements and disappointments. We were supposed to have a lot of baptisms this month, we had scheduled over twice as many as I have experienced in a month and we were working hard and doing all we could to have them ready but Murphy's law kicked in this week, and everything that could go wrong did. Last week we had 53 investigators at church, and thats quite a few. We had 12 baptismal dates that were 99.99% sure but not 100%... On Sunday we had 13 at church and our baptismal dates dropped faster than the marines storming a beach covered with machine gun fire. If that helps you imagine things, :) I feel trying to put things in perspective in a way that makes you think is good for you. We had a little bit of time where we got down on ourselves waiting for people to come to church, I have never prayed so hard before, we did not really know exactly what to do, so we pulled out some hymn books and sang, at first it lifted up our spirits a bit, than I requested hymn # 26. Which is my companion's favorite, his face lit up and he said "dats a great one 'der" in his awesome Filipino accent. We learned a little bit of what we felt Heavenly Father was trying to teach us and we both grew closer to Him. Life is not necessarily easy, but you can make the best out of the not so best and always enjoy life. I have some great pictures from my area, including a big waterfall and a couple others, but they are not loading, the computers here are not the best, but I am making the best out of it haha and just writing... :) I think I had something that I really wanted to say but I forgot what it was. Also, this cannot really be proven haha but I believe it to be true, whenever I have a really rough day I look up and there is always a shooting star, I think Heaven Father flicks a random ball of ice and rock across the sky to help lift me up. On Sunday I was having a particularly rough day, I looked up and I saw three within about 2 seconds and than I saw one other. Coincidence, think what you want. I have not seen one yet on a great day, (well all days are great.. but most days do not weigh down on you like that :) ) Also we were able to have 3 baptisms on Saturday, we are not allowed to announce baptisms until after interviews but we do have interviews later today, so I will keep you updated next week. Also I will try to get you a picture of me and Elder Vail in our custom made onsies, but thats on his camera.. we will see what we can do :) Love you(s), :) Elder Munk
