Hello,
If you are guessing, yes I did get a new card reader, and also the T key is struggling on this keyboard, so if you see any words that do not make sense add some T's to it. But I will try to get all of the T's in here even if I have to smash the keyboard with a hammer. Anyways, life is going prety well excep he keyboard is driving me crazy. We had a fairly successful week and I have a couple of stories to tell.
Elder Oliverio and I had worked hard and found a family who was ready to be baptized, they were our only hope for the month of September, because we have high standards for baptisms in he Philippines, because if we had lower standards we would get tons of baptisms who would all go inactive. We had a total of 17 potential, that turned into 4 that turned into 0. Which means we still have high potential in October haha. It is funny how it always turns out like that. But all is well, this week is problem solving week.
The area we are working in with our second sacrament has hit a couple problems in the last little bit also. There are four other churches there and the pastors are lying about us, and trying to convince the people that we are there to rob them. Silly Pastors, hindi ako merunong magnakaw. With our good investigators it has not created a problem, but with some they have started avoiding us and not wanting us to teach them.
There is good news. We have one invesigaor (keyboard!) named Jose Belmonte, he has been taught by every set (daw(word on the street)) of missionaries, for longer than I have been alive. We have his trust, and got him to Church yeserday. One of my number 1 goals since I got here was o baptize this man, we are hoping for November, also he has a rare skill which I will not say, but I will say I am going to bring my Mommy home a gift :)
I am struggling yping wih this keyboard, and I am running ou of ime... So I need o email my mission Presiden :)
Love you!
Elder Munk
